My collage features variety of symbols that represent myself and the people and things that have molded me into the person I am today. Starting in the top left corner, the Bojack Horseman title is included not only because I love the show, but it is intentionally placed next to the decapitated horse to call back to how Bojack destroys his own life. The master sword is the one that decapitates “Bojack” because my love for the Legend of Zelda and other videogames are what help keep me from becoming like Bojack. However, the horse not in only symbolizes my inner thoughts and fears of who I could become, it also represents my love for movies with its subtle reference to The Godfather. The flaming TV also represents my love for movies with a call back to the burning theater in Inglourious Basterds. And, of course, Audrey II in the bottom left corner is a direct nod to Little Shop of Horrors.

There are various symbols throughout that represent my family, as they are the people who have truly shaped me into the person I am. The Teddy Bear stands in place of my mother, as she collects Teddy Bears. Homer Simpson symbolizes my father, as he loves the Simpsons. The sunflowers are my sister Rachel’s favorite flower; softball is my sister Caroline’s favorite sport; the lightsabers are a nod to Star Wars, my brother, Ben’s, favorite movie.

On top of  all the symbolism, there are various images that just represent my interests. The dinosaurs are simply there because I love dinosaurs; similarly, the pig is a character from my favorite TV show, Gravity Falls, but he is dressed as one of my favorite streamers, Technoblade.
