Project 1_Odin Burris
Update 9/2/22
Today, I played around in my head with some ideas and routes I could take with this film. Looking at the footage I accumulated last Wednesday I really like the idea of using toys and figures to make silly and dramatic shots, so I may do that for the actual project. I gathered a good amount of clips:
I also wrote down some storyboards for some ideas. Currently, I'm debating between doing a film revolving around those toys again or using a stuffed animal to make a silly "horror" narrative.
Update 9/4/22
Over the last few days, I completed my storyboard as well as got some footage for my film, which I've titled Scopophobia. Here it is:
Very rough and sketchy, but it gets the job done.
Update 9/9/22
Today I added a number of effects and stitched together what footage I had taken before my tripod snapped. Here's what it's looking like now:
I'll be spending the next few days sifting through audio for the film and gathering the remaining footage I need :)
Update 9/16/22
I was out last class due to being sick, but I spent the day editing a bit more and began searching for audio. I added some more text to the end of the film and I'll maybe be looking for a filter to put over the footage to make it more creepy. I've kept some of the original audio because I may not have music playing there.
Finished up the final editing and audio, and now I've exported and uploaded my project to YouTube and Canvas. I'm content with how it turned out!
