Diveristy and Culture Share-Aubrey

 My name is Aubrey, and I’m blind. I’m actually visually impaired and it causes my central vision to deteriorate, creating a blind spot in the middle of my eye. It’s definitely something that’s given me a new perspective and it’s something I’m more than happy to discuss with people who are curious. I hate the mentality that people would be scared to ask because they’re scared of offending me, when it’s quite the opposite . Despite that though, I am a very big artist. I enjoy both traditional mediums and digital art, and some of my drawings are at the bottom corners. I like colored pencil and market the most, but all of my digital art is done in procreate, which is my sort of “main” medium of choice. I also have a strange obsession with Peeps, not in just how they taste but also how they look. They’re so simplistic and I love all the pastel colors they come in. I have literally 4 plush Peeps in my room, and I love them all dearly.  I also enjoy swimming and swam competitively for about 3 years going into high school, and though K don’t compete anymore, I still enjoy doing it from time to time. The rabbit at the bottom is also my bunny, and his name is Buyyers. He’s such a sweetheart , and he’s a little bit dumb, but he’s my baby and I love him dearly.
